Partially an homage to the art deco, partially an attempt at a natural softening of the black and chrome ÒmodernÓ furniture, all of the pieces in the Ovalino Collection gain their decoration from their fundamental shape. The fluid wood curves and oval shape are a soft contrast to the sharp edges found in other modern pieces. The inlays, which are customizable, act as the primary accents to the piece. Because of the simple elegance of the Collection, it has the versatility to be used in both residential and commercial settings. The Ovalino Side Table is a small, elegant piece which provides a lot of storage without creating clutter in the bedroom, living room, or entryway. The interior behind the cabinet doors reveals two asymmetrical drawers, one large enough to fit legal sized note pads and one for storing smaller books. Below the drawers is a large, open storage space.
