A number of unique and totally unconventional elements featured El Tubo bar in Lima, Peru. Designed by Chilean architect Felipe Assadi, this amazing modern bar design located in of Lima’s historical sites – an abandoned building, circa 1820.
As it named, the bar’s structure is tube-shaped with modern rounded corners, and has been drilled with holes to allow a gentle violet light to pass through the space. The minimalist atmosphere is perfectly catched by minimal bar stools and chairs which are simple, clean-lined, white bar in the long funky volume houses. Overhead, a stunning focal point created by a collection of contemporary lighting fixtures which is a sculptural, an artistic addition. While underfoot, loose gravel makes an ultra-chic and unexpected natural statement.
