This is a colletion of furniture from the Dutch designers Tejo Remy & Rene? Veenhuizen. The collection consists of two chairs, a bench and table which were made of cast concrete. Each item was casted as a single piece in individual molds created from waterproof PVC or plastic sheeting. Once assembled, the molds are placed upside down and concrete is poured into the feet. The stability is provided by small metal fibers contained by the steel reinforced legs. To get a piece of this seating furniture, they need over two weeks to cut off the mold and wait furniture is completely dry.
