David Moser designed Kinesis Chair & Ottoman. The chair had a highly original appearance. But these two furniture elements were able to induce the feeling of complete comfort.
The chair design was created from a body in motion. It mattered when force was given on mass, as opposed to potential energy, when energy laid latent in mass. The evidence of what was possible when both potential and kinetic energy occupied the same space was the contemporary chair. A carved piece of lounge furniture that refined everything, it was learned about wood, ergonomics, and sculpture into an extraordinary work of art. Combining a fine-art cast bronze sculpture base with a hand-shaped, curved silhouette, this chair was an art that albeit of the truly interactive variety.
