Due to derive from another plant, the furniture was not meant a traditionalist. The Mangrove Chair from Veraseri Designs allowed a that impression. Designed by Adam Krehbiel, the price of modern chair was $12,000 a piece. A cause was promoted by this unique chair design, while it was easy to make fun of the odd looking wooden chair. Almost 90% recycled materials, the chair design was handcrafted. The designer’s wish was to draw the world’s attention towards the planet’s dying Mangrove ecosystems. A large portion of the sale proceeds would be for various earth conservation fundraising projects.
