There is an exhibition, which is called The Front Room curated by Matylda Krzykowski and Marco Gabriele Lorusso. The Front Room is a room, where we are doing daily activities, such as reading, watching, or gathering with family. Here, there are 14 young designers, who show their design to create a perfect living space. The themes of the Front Room’s exhibition are Geometry and Colour. They are very important values, because all of new objects can be integrated by the ritualistic nature of sheer geometries and contemporary color palettes. The furniture, which are exhibited, consist of a coffee table and wall lamp by Daphna Laurens‘ Cirkel Collection, Faceture vases by Phil Cuttance, furniture inspired by industrial structures byMieke Meijer, Henny van Nistelrooy’s a screen made by unpicking woven fabric, the selectively oxidised mirrors by David Derksen and Lex Pott,Syzgy Lamps by OS & OOS, Composition Lights by Miya Kondoand a clock, which can be only read straight-on by Studio Like This. This exhibition also shows the seating, such as Earnest Studio’s stool made by expanding foam around the legs and fabric seat and Agata Karolina and Dana Cannam’s a rocking chair, which takes centre stage on rugs with graduated colours by Franziska Wernicke.
