As creativity is the most important thing in Art and Design, the building of this School of Art, Design and Media at Nanyang Technology University Singapore stated the creativity of the architects, yet their consideration of eco-friendly environment. Situated in wooded valley, this unique shape building has a most spectacular verdant turfed roof which blends with ground contour as if emerges from it. The turfed roofscape has have a role in lowering the temperature and be functioned as outdoor public space.

The owner of the house has a timber company and wants to fill the home with the company’s product indoor and outdoor. This unique house located in Oita, Japan. House N – A Modern House in Japan

This is one of the residential projects from Sou Fujimoto Architects, located in Oita Japan. This house is designed for a couple and a dog. The house is comprised of three shells of graduated size nested inside one another. The outer shell covers the entire house and grounds. This shell has box shaped with openings to the outdoor and the sky. The second shell is smaller box then the outer shell. It encloses a limited space inside the covered outdoor area. And the third shell is the smallest box for interior space where the residents live inside. The architect stated: “My intention was to make an architecture that is not about space nor about form, but simply about expressing the riches of what are `between` houses and streets.” Built in 236,57 sqm site area, this unique house has a sense of privacy from the street but the relationship between indoor and outdoor is maintained by the windows with natural light and air circulation.
