Here is the unique furniture come from Japan. It is called Chidori furniture. The concept of Chidori furniture come on a collaboration between designers and craftsmen from East Japan and Kengo Kuma & Associates . The furniture design is aimed to bring the traditional concept design into the contemporary way of living. Based on old Japanese toy, this furniture comes from the wood planks, which are connected through a joint system, so they stay together without using nails or glue. One unit of furniture has twelve timber sticks with different junctions. It can be assembled in many combination to create table, shelf, or wall. Overall, Chidori furniture is come from old Japanese toys, which is applied to the contemporary living.
