Nick Davis created bronze furniture and sculpture. The furniture collection is very unique and artistic. The collection includes tables, chairs and cabinets, lamps and coat hooks. The furniture design is contemporary theme related to the collapse of structures of the physical, the economic and the imagined, exploring collage and constructivism. The unique furniture are made of the ancient material. The first of his works is ‘After they ransacked the Museum‘, which is influenced by the ‘Arab Spring’ uprisings. The bronze cupboard is inspired by the loss of structures and historical artefacts.
This furniture is very simple and small. Maisonnette collection is created by Italian designer Simone Simonelli. Maisonnette is derived from French, meaning “small house”. As its name, the unique furniture is perfect for small spaces. The furniture design is three little mobile storage units, featuring a stand/miniwardrobe, a cart/table and a basket/tray. Seeing these furniture, you will find something unique. Belgian designer designer Maarten De Ceulaer represented the unique chair called Mutationat Spazio Rossana Orlandi in Milan. As its name, the chair design is inspired by result of mutation in cells. The pieces are made by cut-offs of foam spheres of various sizes, and applying them onto a structure, creating the chair unique in every pieces. Then, they are covered in rubber or flocked.
Mauricio Affonso represented the Fan Table at Ventura Lambrate. As its name, the unique table looks like a fan. The table design is the exchange between the table and context. The table top consists of the 400 wooden slats, so the surface can expand, contract and fan out into a full circle. The unique table can be changed into different shapes and sizes depending on the context and needs, featuring a birch base with gate legs fold out or tuck away as it changes shape.
Seeing this image, I think that this image is like a sculpture. Surprisely , it is a reception desk. Designed by designers Erhan and Mustafa Afsaroglu Mustafa Afsaroglu forCypriot Furniture Brand, the unique desk includes the values of of the Prestige Group brand. The desk design is inspired by the Besparmak Mountains in North Cyprus. The designer created this amazing desk as a sculpture because the reception desk is the focal point of the lobby, or we can say that a center of attention.
