The original chairs by Steven Holl will be replaced by the Kiasma Chair, which is launched by architect Vesa Honkonen for Swedish manufacturer Källemo at the Stockholm Furniture Fair last week. The chair design features the light and leg, which represents the earth. It has a strong character and becomes an important part of Kiasma’s image. Do you know a chair, which the jury of the badminton tournament is sitting on it? I think this chair looks like that one, but it is more comfortable. Here is the high chair designed by Patrycja Domanska and Felix Gieselmann. The unique chair is named as “Homage to Karl” to dedicate to Austrian author Karl Kraus, who is said to have written much of his literature in Viennese cafes whilst observing day-to-day activity. The chair design features a wooden ladder to get onto the chair and can place their drinks onto or inside two attached boxes that also serve as an armrest. This chair becomes a part of the coffeehouse exhibition The Great Viennese Café: A Laboratory.
